FAQs
How does Hydraid® improve my hydration?
Glucose and sodium together activate one of your body’s own mechanisms – the sodium-glucose co-transporter. This helps your body absorb water and electrolytes better.¹ Sounds like biochemistry, feels like getting back in the flow faster.
How much Hydraid® can I drink per day?
That depends on how much fluid you lose, e.g. how hard you train.
For Hydration Helper®, we recommend max. 5 sticks per day (approx. 2.5 L) for healthy adults. For children aged 6 and over, max. 2 sticks (approx. 1 L) per day. Hydration Helper® is not suitable for children under 6.
Why have you changed the price & number of sticks in Hydration Helper®?
We haven’t changed our prices since launching Hydraid® in 2021. Since then, many raw materials, production and transport have become a lot more expensive. Rather than simply raising the price, we wanted to keep offering you one stick for around €1. The new packaging made that possible: instead of 25 sticks for €24.99, you now get 30 sticks for €29.99. Still around €1 per stick.
Can I buy Hydraid® powder in bulk?
We’re working on it – and it’s not as easy as it sounds. A tub of loose powder that clumps quickly or barely keeps isn’t an option for us. So we’ll keep tinkering until we’re happy. And so are you.
Can I use Hydraid® in elite sport?
Yes. Right from the start, we’ve had Hydration Helper® regularly tested for prohibited doping substances by independent laboratories. Since 2024, it has carried the official Cologne List® seal – officially suitable for professional sport and competition.
